Set in a striking building on Museumplein, it sits just around the corner from the Rijksmuseum and, with the Stedelijk nearby, forms part of Amsterdam’s cultural trifecta. Dedicated to the works of Vincent van Gogh and his contemporaries, the Van Gogh Museum houses the largest collection of the artist’s work anywhere in the world.
